Apex Copper Coast Retreats

The Apex Copper Coast Retreats aim to provide SA families with a cancer diagnosis, referred to us by Cancer Council SA, the opportunity to get away for a 7 day holiday and create precious memories.

The Apex Copper Coast Retreats are a service project created by the Apex Clubs of Kadina, Jamestown, Clare, Port Augusta, Whyalla, Maitland and Crystal Brook to support South Australian families faced with cancer.

Funded primarily by the Apex Outback Postie Bike Ride. 3 Units to date have been purchased or built in the Wallaroo North Beach Tourist Park. Each of the custom built luxurious units have 3 bedrooms sleeping 8 in total, full functioning kitchen with modern appliances including dishwasher, bathroom and laundry. The accommodation is provided at no cost except for a $50 cleaning fee at end of the stay.

Families who have a member that has been diagnosed with cancer can be referred to the booking process by contacting Cancer Council SA 13 11 20
